| Arc Raiders surface tips and tricks |
 |
Arc Raiders' tips and tricks are derived from my battles with players and robots. The information and tips below are things I wish I knew before going out into the wastelands to look for loot. Arc Raiders, if not familiarized with the way it works, can be a very unfriendly game. Here's some helpful tips to get you through.

quick tips
The tips will be explained in greater detail below, but for a quick Arc Raiders guide here is all you need to know.
Make sure to control your sound.
Don't Shoot - If you don’t want to fight with another player, make that clear by using this emote
You can use defensive shooting to deflect the robot's aiming before it hits.
Strong robots have a big advantage against electromagnetic storms
The visuals are key to achieving stealth, and they can be seen from a distance.
There are specific explosives that work for different enemies. These include timed-bombs for ARC and players, as well as impact bombs.
Solo matches can be more peaceful. But there are no guarantees.
Never throw away items you're unsure you'll need buy arc raiders coins
.
Fighting with no cover is a sure recipe for disaster
In general, hostile areas are those with a large amount of loot or treasure.
Arc Raiders does not always tell you the truth. These are things you learn through (often bitter-sweet) experience. Now let's dig into the details.
1. The sound you make and your noise level is very important
Arc Raiders, whether playing against human players or robotic enemies, is very stealth oriented. It's important to keep in mind that sound can travel long distances and is highly directional. You can give away your locati0n by breaking open locked boxes, walking past cameras or certain terrain.
Be aware that your sounds can alert other players to your locati0n if there's a slight chance of them being near. If you pay attention to sounds, both near and distant, as well, you can be a much more effective Raider.
2. First impressions matter in dealing with players
While there is no guarantee of safety in dealing with other gamers, you should be prepared to receive treatment as such if, for example, you behave in a way that makes them feel threatened. When you get caught sneaking on someone and using the best Arc Raiders Weapons to point in their face, refusing communications, or getting caught with your weapons pointed directly at them, it makes you appear dangerous. So, don't be surprised when you are treated that way.
Alternatively, being helpful and open can help prevent bloodshed. When you rescue a robot-attacked player, this will help to establish your reputation as a hero. However, you should always choose the emote "don't Shoot" when another player is in close proximity. This will show that you're promoting peace. If others respond with the same, it's safe.
3. Use shots to dislodge robots that are attacking.
Guns don't only damage Arc enemies, they also can confuse and make them stumble. Arc Raiders Wasps and Hornets can be knocked out of whack if their propellers are targeted. It's best to attack them just before their shot, as it will throw their aim out of whack, causing their counterattack to miss.
4. Magnetic storms can be used to hunt tougher robots
Arc Raiders Electromagnetic Storms adds a map-modifier that blasts the map with lightning in random patterns. Although it is dangerous, you will have some warning before each bolt. Arcs will be much more affected by lightning if they do not react or recognize warning signs. They can also be damaged and stunned. If you're looking to get high level Arc loot such as from Leapers Rocketeers or Bastions then a storm would be the perfect time. They'd have more trouble than you.
5. If you know the right way to hide, it's easy.
As long as there is no one else in the fight or Arc robots, you will have a decent chance to hide. Arc Raiders Stella Montis offers many hiding spots. In addition, shrubs, bracken, and other vegetation can render players invisible. I've hidden in bushes to avoid more than one opponent, even though they were standing just a couple of feet away. While your character's pained whimpering can be heard if you try to hide and are injured, it could potentially give your locati0n away.
