If you're trying to squeeze every bit of value out of Diablo 4's current event before it disappears on April 14, efficiency matters more than anything. A lot of players are still wandering around doing whatever pops up, but that's not how you stack Fresh Meat fast. If your plan is to gear up, target Bloodied drops, or even just buy diablo 4 gold to smooth out the grind, the event really comes down to picking the right loop and sticking to it. After testing a few routes, one thing becomes obvious pretty quickly: the Butcher farm is miles ahead of almost everything else when it comes to raw currency per minute.

Why the Butcher loop wins
The best route is simple. Spend Pound of Flesh, summon the Butcher, burn him down, open the chest, reset, and go again. That's it. On Torment 4 with a proper burst setup, runs can be absurdly short. Sometimes it's over before you've even settled into the rhythm. The reward is the real reason people are hard farming it though, since each clear can hand over around 1,000 Fresh Meat. Over a long session, that gap adds up fast. There's also a small travel trick that genuinely helps: skip the usual waypoint and port straight to the Broiler area instead. From there, the nearby exit gets you to the vendors and event NPCs quicker, and after twenty or thirty runs, that tiny shortcut saves more time than you'd think.

If you want a change of pace
Not everyone wants to spam one boss for an hour straight, and fair enough. Helltides are the next best option if you'd rather keep moving. The loop here is to gather Meaty Offerings, trigger Slaughter Shrines, and clear them cleanly. You'll usually end up somewhere around 800 to 1,000 Fresh Meat if the run goes well, and you're also getting Grim Favors in the background, which makes the time feel less narrow. Seasonal reputation is worth watching too. A lot of players forget about it because it builds passively, but those Bloodied Caches can still drop a useful chunk of meat, usually in the 200 to 300 range, plus extra materials and sigils you'll actually use.

What's worth spending on
When it comes to spending, Bloodied Armor should be your first stop. No question. That's where the strongest event-specific power tends to show up, especially if you're chasing killstreak crit bonuses, attack speed, or big stat boosts that actually change how a build feels in combat. Jewelry sounds tempting, but it's usually a trap. The cost is higher, the outcome is less reliable, and most players won't get enough value from rings or amulets to justify dumping their stash there. Weapons can make sense in some setups, especially if you need a specific Berserking interaction, but armor is still the cleanest upgrade path for most classes.

Keep Mythics in perspective
Yes, Mythics can drop from this event. No, you really shouldn't plan around them. The odds are rough, and there are already plenty of stories going around from players who've burned through massive piles of Fresh Meat for absolutely nothing. It happens. That's why the smarter play is to treat every roll like a value check: grab cheaper armor pieces, keep the ones with Greater Affixes, and salvage the misses so you can feed the next round. If you like keeping your options open for currency, items, or other game essentials while you grind, eznpc is at least a familiar name many players already know, but the real win in this event still comes from disciplined farming and not wasting meat on bad bets.
