Hello
First, i have to apologize for english language, but i don't speak german very well...
I have 2 problems with my Ascona CD 1.8E, '84, LeJetronic, 85kW
1. I have this problem for 3yrs now and i have been to huge number of workshops but noone solved problem.
When i try to start cold engine first time, it cranks slowly, like starter is broken or battery is empty. Few seconds after first crank it can crank normally, and every other time after first. When it cools down again, i have same problem. I have changed starter, battery, cable wiring, adjusted dwell, distributor, etc. When i adjust distributor to one spot it can crank good even if it is cold but then performance is very poor. If distributor is adjusted on right spot with strobo, then i have above mentioned cranking problem. Besides this, car runs normally, stable idle rpm, good acceleration, no stall, etc. Just few days ago i was on CO tester and shows 0.87% CO. Engine DOES NOT consumpt oil.
2. I have to buy air mass meter ( luftmenge messer ) hose, one which goes from air mass meter to air intake, but i can't find it anywhere in my and surrounding countries ( i live in Bosnia ). If any of You knows where to find it in Hannover, Hamburg or Muenchen please let me know address or phone number, i will be in Germany during CeBit time.

Hallo vule!
Because of the air mess meter: I would try to get a cheep one in www.ebay.de. Maybe you can find there such a part.
But if you want, I can ask my friend if he has one, because in his garden stand two broken Ascona. But I don´t know, if they have the same machine than yours (I have to ask first). I can tell you at the beginning of next week (I think Monday afternoon).

But i can't buy nothing on Ebay because of the country i live in ( Bosnia ), our credit cards are not accepted anywhere in the world :-(

I will be in Hannover and Hamburg during Cebit time... Regarding i am going there as company representative, i will not have much time to look around car shops so adress, phone number, email or website will be great help. I have already tried to contact opel dealers but no help.
